We couldn’t let JOV’s 25th anniversary pass without creating a design that pays tribute to the owner and CEO of JOV, Gilles Vandenbussche. As a driving force behind the company for many years, his vision and personality have played an important role in shaping JOV into what it is today. For this design, we chose to use his nickname, GIGI.
The design itself is playful, with ribbon-like shapes that intertwine and flow into each other, ending in subtle fringes.
The GIGI rug is made using the NAYA quality, crafted from 100% soft New Zealand wool. To highlight the line pattern and add extra depth, we introduced thicker wool in loop form.
